It is important for all bargaining unit employees (not just new employees) to understand that the union movement is a movement that believes in fairness and justice. It gives employees a voice, not an insurance policy.

Joining a Union and being active in that Union is the best thing you can do to secure your career and assure that justice and fairness. The cost is 1 hour of pay per paycheck 1/80th of your pay. There is no initiation fee.

Be advised, the PASS Contract supercedes any conflicting policy the Agency may have on this site. Read the contract, and read the policies; I think you'll find that you some rights non-union employees don't enjoy.

PASS has also been heavily involved in helping veterans get their benefits. Recently FAA, through the urging and assitance of PASS adopted Montgomery GI Bill benefits for Technical Operations bargaining unit employees, Here is the current program for these folks.
